Containers zijn vrijdag geladen

Vrijdag hebben we nog even flink de armen uit de mouwen gestoken en de containers geladen, zaterdag nog wat afwerken en maandag vertrekken we.

In Botosani zijn ze aan het bouwrijp maken

Hello Mr. Maarten ,

The rooms look great. We need to see the faces of the people when they will go in them for the first time. And the face of the children too.

 Today I have taken a team of 6 people and we cleaned the place and made a lot of fire and burned staff on it. I am sending you pictures of that job.

 Is is done for the lady in Botosani.

 I went yesterday to look at the place in the village and it looks ready for the new homes. So no need to do anything there. I will get some stones to put under them too .

Ready for transport

De containers zijn klaar voor transport, vrijdag gaan we ze laden en maandag gaan we beginnen aan de rit naar Botosani.

Het is een ongelofelijk verbetering van de woonomstandigheden van de oma met haar twee kleinkinderen die nu in een ingestorte bouwval leven. De 2e container gaat naar een zigeunerfamilie die in een heel klein hutje wonen met veel teveel mensen, verstoken van alle primaire levensbehoeften. 

De aanpassingen van de containers is een hele klus geweest maar dankzij ons bouwteam heel goed gelukt. Nu het transport nog...... Via ons blog houden we u op de hoogte.

Van de Noordse Balk naar Alba Iulia

Van Evaen mochten we veel spullen ontvangen uit het verzorgingshuis de Noordse Balk in Wormerveer voor een groot deel zijn deze naar Alba Iulia gebracht, lees onderstaande reactie van Nicoleta.

Everything went perfect with the truck of March 12, all the goods you sent were of high quality and it will be intense used.

I sent you some pictures with transfer.ro but I did not receive the confirmation. Have you download its?

In these pictures you could see all the goods you sent, grouped on categories before the transfer in the specific warehouse. Also, I took some pictures with Mr. Gerben and Mr. Ljibbe having some nice moments together with few of our beneficiaries: as you can see, our beneficiaries enjoyed some moments (and some biscuits from previous truck) with your colleagues and shake some hands; after all, they are already old friends since you are visiting them for almost two years and you are bringing them so many gifts. They are very happy each time before the truck is coming and each one says what he wish to receive from that truck (usually, this wish is mattresses or biscuits or toys). Fortunately, in this moment I could say that the problem of mattresses is almost solved, with your help we manage to replace almost entirely the disastrous old  mattresses (you already sent us around 300 good mattresses).

Together with Mr. Gerben and Mr. Ljibbe, I had a short visit in the center: I show them three rooms entirely furnished with the beds you sent two weeks ago, and also the romanian chapel furnished with dutch chairs, chandeliers and in the altar an dutch wood commode.

I like very much the picture 168, the one with the long alley where our beneficiaries come in one row, bring some things from the truck and depart on other row. It is like the story of your organization: poor unknown people appear from somewhere, come to you, receive something and they are going back in nowhere. For twenty years you were part of their lives, helping them, but it seems that their  rows will never end, neither in Alba Iulia, nor in Reghin or Botosani ...

In their name I say "Thank you dear Mr. Maarten, to you and to all the people that means Promotie! May God bless you and your families for the love, help and understanding you are showing to romanian unknown poor people!"

Woensdag 12 maart

Vandaag weer veel werk verzet, in totaal waren er meer dan 30 vrijwilligers aan de slag, geweldig natuurlijk. Er zijn 2.000 zakken met havermout gemaakt en nog eens 600 zakken meel omgepakt. Bij de Noordse Balk in Wormerveer hebben veel goed bruikbare spullen kunnen ophalen en er is ook nog een trailer geladen met bestemming Breaza.

Gerben en Ljibbe zijn inmiddels weer op de terugreis uit Alba Iulia.

Mark Oliver

Imola en Csaba hebben vanmorgen om 9 uur hun 2e kindje gekregen.

Het kindje is geboren met behulp van de keizersnee, Imola en haar zoontje blijven tot aanstaande vrijdag in het ziekenhuis in Reghin.

Mark Oliver weegt 3.220 gram en is 52 cm lang, net als zijn moeder is hij goed gezond. Iedereen is blij en gelukkig met de komst van het broertje van Milan.

5 maart zakken vullen

Er zijn vandaag maar liefst 3.750 zakken havermout omgepakt, in april gaan deze in de paaspakketten. Het liep geweldig goed vandaag, in Wormerveer bij de Noordse Balk weer een mooie partij bruikbare spullen geladen, dit keer met bestemming Breaza. Volgende week nog een keer een inpakdag dan gaan we aan het bloem en het mail beginnen. De wooncontainers zijn u ook bijna klaar voor gebruik.
