Kinderkamp in Minis

Pieter Nagel en zijn team hebben de zomerkampen weer achter de rug, de kinderen vonden het weer geweldig. Op de bijgaande foto's zijn veel van onze leveranties te herkennen.

Dear Mr. Maarten,

Thank you for the 5^th truck sent to us on this year. You sent us a lot of useful things that our centers really need it. For instance, the refrigerators are so much need it that all the centers started the World War III to obtain its. This is due to the fact that the Romanian government issued in 2009 a law that cuts all the budgets for long term use goods like: refrigerators and freezers, all kinds of furniture, computers, wash machines. We could only repair what we had at that moment (in 2009) and you can imagine that is impossible to repair a wash machine or a TV set for numberless times.
Also the mattresses used for our beneficiaries (most of them with major handicap) were in very bad condition but, thanks to you, we replaced a lot of old mattresses. In spite of the fact that you sent us a lot of good mattresses I could say that, for the future, this will remain our first necessity.

And TV sets: I gave the TV sets you sent until now to the homes with children, (because all our homes had only one TV each one, and children are on different ages and would like to watch different shows on TV) but starting with the 5 TV sets from the yesterday truck, I will give its to the old people homes, for their living rooms or even for the rooms with patients.

The 93 chairs are also in good condition and will be shared between the 10 centers from Abrud area, maybe you will have the time to visit its during the trip from September. There are 4 homes with children, 5 homes with old people and the big center with 80 people.

BBQ 2104

De boog kan niet altijd gespannen zijn daarom ook dit jaar een BBQ we mochten weer van de gastvrijheid van Geeske en Jaap Ligthart gebruik maken in Schagerbrug. Het was weer een gezellig
samenzijn.

Cristi met alle kinderen op vakantie in Oostenrijk

Een oom van Cristi woont in Oostenrijk en heeft de kerk waaraan hij hij lid is contact gebracht met Casa Ioana. Ze sturen hulpgoederen en er is een hele groep uit Oostenrijk op bezoek geweest in Botosani.

Nu is Cristi samen met alle kinderen en een aantal volwassen op vakantie geweest bij hun in Oosterijk, leuk maar ook erg vermoeiend vooral de lange busreis.

Dear Mr. Maarten,

Thank you for the pictures ... and for the wonderful things you loaded. I admire you all and your work, and watching the pictures, I imagine the joy that you had in your souls, joy that was helping you (in last 20 years) to do this hard work for the absolutely unknown people from abroad.

(I also admired your cars, especially the black Nissan in front of the row, and I recognized the Renault Traffic of Jan Valk).

What is the bath tub that Jaap Koning is carrying, is it a special tub for exercises for people with disabilities? I hope so, because we had a square bath tub to our Arnsberg center, but is broken since few years. And the children which receive medical care to this center simply love to make exercise in the water.

Wasmachine voor bejaardenhuis in Deda

Imola en Csaba helpen al langere tijd een bejaardenhuis in Deda. Er wonen hier 27 bejaarden en gehandicapten. In het gebouw is ook een tandartspraktijk en dokterspraktijk. Er is geen lift een mini recreatiezaaltje met een TV. Degene die de trap niet meer kan gebruiken zit dus boven, ook een verlamde man ligt al lang in zijn bed. Het personeel doet zijn best om er toch iets van

te maken het is er schoon en in het kleine keukentje met 1 klein fornuis weten ze goede maaltijden te bereiden. Regelmatig brengt Csaba spullen hiervoor naar Deda. Voor al deze mensen was slechts een kleine normale wasmachine beschikbaar, dankzij onze sponsors hebben we een acht kg LG wasmachine kunnen kopen om het wassen wat gemakkelijker te maken.  ,
