Food packages for the elderly in Breaza

           

In 2008 the foundation had started the so called “food stamps program”. The beneficiars were: old people abouwe 80, social cases, people with disability and poor  people .This persons could go twise in a month to the willage shop and buy food for 12 euro. In that way  was working until July 2013,when it was diceded to stop working with the  shops ,because  the high price of the food.

Now the food products are  bought from  Holland and made  together with the   childrens fom Casa Jannie ,wich gives them also a good filling about helping the old people.

At the moment we have  80 persons  in the program and they receive  every month  once a package with the following products:1 l oil, 1kg sugar, 1kg flour, 1 macaroni,1 rise, 1 coffee, 1 pc tomato soup, 2 pâtés, 1 ham, 1.5 l washing gel, 1l dish wascher, 2 pots of  hak,1/2 kg cereals,2 pc fish,  sultana and biscuits, and other goods provided from transports. It is a nice package and after their words it is more as they could buy lately from the shop.

The beneficiaries have to come to pick up their package from us. This month was on 9 October; next month will be on 12 November.
